A beautifulgrass with plumes of dark fox tail flowers mid to late Summer. Of all the dark flowered forms of this it has the best chance of hardinessunlike Purple Fountain which is sold in vast quantities and doesn’t stand a chance. Up to 90cm and happy in most soil as long as does not get too dry in Summer and waterlogged in Winter. Full sun to partial shade.
