Deciduousshrub/hedging plant with very thorny branches and mid green leaves. Was commonly used as hedging round stock fields as nothing will argue with those thorns. If left to develop as a tree orange sized wrinkled green fruits can form. Male and female plant required and no we cannot sex them! Lone female trees have been known to fruit but without seed. Good barrier to keep out unwanted visitors!
