Hardy bromeliadwhich has thin grey green spiky leaves growing from a central rosette. Flowering in Semptemberwith cluster of tiny blue fowersin the centre of rosette. The leaves in these flowering rosettes go brilliant red and cannot fail to catch the eye. Drought tolerant and survived Winter of 2010 for us outside. Very tolerant of pot culture.
