A semi-evergreen perennial from China with glossy large for type dark green leaves and lemon-scented yellow flowers with brown markings inside, on slightly arching leafy stems. Max Height 40cm. Max Spread 30cm to 40cm. Flowers May to June. Partial shade. Hardy. Looks very similar to Solomon seal to which it is closely related.
