Comoros perennial with a striking snakeskin mottled stem topped with a giant intricate divided leaf on top. When corm is mature it produces a typical aroidflower and spatheof deep purple. Not too pleasant a fragrance as like its big cousinthe giant arum it smells of rotten meat. Quiteprolific in habit producing offset corm’seach year.
