Tall prickly stems on this architecturalplant topped by crowns of large bipinnate leaves with prickles and slightly toothed edges. Compoundracemesof cream flowers mid to late Summer followed by black globosefruit. Best in shade to semi shade although tolerant of sun but for best foliage effect not in a windy spot. Common name is Devils walking stick.
